    Wings Started!

    I had my boys help me get the spars out of the attic and I started work on that. I started match drilling the parts but they were already final sized. I forgot that quite a few parts from this wing kit are already final sized. They did need some deburring so I spent quite a bit of time doing that. I’m ready to keep making progress on these spars so that we can get finished with them.

    I decided to see what AI would do on image generation since WordPress is wanting me to try it. I asked it to create an RV-10 flying through a sunny sky making a right turn over a beach. Not quite but not bad! haha

    The Wing Kit Has Arrived!

    I was super excited when I got the call on Wednesday that they wanted to schedule delivery at the house. Luckily this time there weren’t any issues and they showed up on the date they said they would and the crate was beaten up but nothing inside was damaged. I finished the inventory last night and besides the backordered items I was only missing one bag of fasteners and one of the plastic insert grommets. All in all I would say that was very successful! I’ll hit Van’s up on the missing stuff and they can send it when they send the backordered items.
